Rung during the Eastern Branch Quarter Peal Week. Rung remembering Hoyland ‘Bert’ Barrack MBE, aka ‘The Governor’ who passed away a year ago and Alan Brader who passed away 6 years ago. Bert was a central figure head within the community. Alan was the former Tower Captain here and at Coningsby. Rung by the Practice Night band. Last year we tried to ring a quarter of Plain Bob Doubles for the Quarter Peal Week but soon packed up and rang a quarter of Minimus with two covers instead due to the bells being too difficult for the band, so this quarter was a real achievement for the band on these extremely challenging bells with over 70 foot of rope to contend with. Well done everyone, a big team effort!
