Rung to mark the 10th anniversary this year of Langton bells being rehung and restored by the Whitechapel Bell Foundry, after being unringable for many decades.
Also marking the 224th anniversary of the birth of John Stephen Langton Esq. (8th Dec 1794). The present six bells were the gift of John Stephen Langton Esq. being cast at the Whitechapel Bell Foundry by Thomas Mears in 1825.
With special thanks to Lynda for standing in at very short notice! The band wish to associate Peter Limage with this peal - who was due to ring.

The Prince was visiting neighbouring Tattershall Castle in his position as President of the National Trust followed by visiting this Church, the Collegiate Church of the Holy Trinity, in his position as Patron of the Lincolnshire Churches Trust.
During his visit to the Church the ringers were presented to the Prince.

Specially arranged and rung on New Years Day to congratulate Joan Simpson, aged 85 (a ringer here at Coningsby), on being awarded a B.E.M. (British Empire Medal) in the 2018 New Year�s Honours List for services to the community of Coningsby (which includes her bell ringing & fundraising). Joan came and sat in the tower while we rang the quarter. She is hoping to ring in a quarter in a few weeks time to celebrate.
Rung also remembering absent friends, especially Alan Brader (former Tower Captain) and Jim Sutherland (former Tower Captain at Wragby and friend of the Eastern Branch). Also in memory of William Eustace James Brown, Bob Hardwick�s Uncle who passed away at the end of 2017.
