Coming to Lincoln to Study at University or College?

Congratulations to all those who have gained a place to study at either the University of Lincoln, Bishop Grosseteste University College Lincoln or Lincoln College.

The Lincoln University and Colleges Society of Bell Ringers (LUCSBR) welcome all ringers of any age and ability to join us at our Practice Nights which are held at the City Church of St. Mary-le-Wigford every Friday evening from 6.15 - 8.00pm during University term time.

St. Mary-le-Wigford Church is located on the High Street next to the Railway Station/Crossing, just a 5 - 10 minute walk from the University and the bells are easy to handle and ring.

You are sure of a warm welcome, whatever your ability, whether you are a ringer or a non ringer, we are more than happy to teach new recruits!

The Practice Nights are relaxed and friendly, so come along and make yourself known.

(N.B. The Church door at St. Mary-le-Wigford's is locked once ringing starts).

For more information contact or visit the LUCSBR website.

We hope you enjoy your time in Lincoln and look forward to meeting you!

Additionally...

Students are also invited to contact the , who will have the latest details of ringing at any of the other towers in the City. This includes the ring of 12 bells at Lincoln Cathedral and the very pleasent ring of 8 bells at St. Giles, just north of the Cathedral.

Please get in touch if you wish to join any of the local practices - we can assure you that there will be a warm welcome here - regardless of your ringing ability.
